Bhutan is bursting with pride for Kinley Dem’s outstanding performance at the Changwon 2024 WSP World Cup! Her unwavering determination and refined skills were on full display as she secured a spot in the final rounds with a stellar score of 618.8 points. But that’s not all! Kinley’s talent shone even brighter as she soared to an incredible 4th place finish among the top 8 competitors, bagging an impressive 206.5 points. This remarkable achievement marks a significant leap forward since her last competition in New Delhi.

Kinley Dem is beaming with pride after her stellar performance at the Changwon 2024 WSPS World Cup, securing an impressive 4th place finish in the para-shooting competition. It is a testament to her dedication and unwavering spirit, considering the challenges she faced.

Dawa Lham, Shooting Coach, recounted the team’s challenging journey to the Olympics in Korea, disrupted by a missed flight connection in Bangkok on April 21. This meant missing crucial pre-competition activities like equipment control and practice sessions that other participants had access to. The stress of potentially missing the competition due to the missed flight was immense.

Despite facing hurdles, Kinley Dem delivered an exceptional performance at the Changwon 2024 WSPS World Cup. There were concerns that stress might affect her game, but Kinley demonstrated remarkable mental fortitude. Even with limited rest, causing drowsiness, she rose to the occasion, exceeding expectations.
