Kuenley Tshering, the former Justice of the High Court and eminent Member of the National Council, has been appointed as Justice of the Supreme Court. Norbu Tshering, who was serving as a Justice of the High Court has been appointed as Justice of the Supreme Court. Karma Galay, formerly the director of the Department of Roads (MOIC) is the new Sarpang Dzongda, and Minjur Dorji, formerly the executive secretary of the Samdrup Jongkhar Thromde, is the new Chukha Dzongda. Pemba, the gup of Drangchu Gewog in Wangdue,who was elected to the vacant post this year, also received dhar from His Majesty.
