On October 15 His Majesty The King granted Dasain Tika to representatives of the Hindu community of Gelephu at the Shivalaya Mandir in Gelephu.
Dasain Tika granted by elders and parents convey special blessings and protection. Dasain marks the victory of the Dharma King Rama, who was an emanation of Vishnu, over the demon Ravana- a victory of good over evil.

Before the tour, His Majesty granted blessings for Dasain Tika at the Lingkana Palace on October 14.
